Kalshi Joins FIFA's World Cup as Official Prediction Market Brand Through ADI Predictstreet Deal
Kalshi becomes co-branded on stadium LED boards and TV broadcasts for the World Cup knockout stage, partnering with ADI Predictstreet to combine FIFA's official prediction market rights with America's dominant exchange — as weekly industry volume crosses $14.4 billion for the first time.

Kalshi is now on the pitch — literally.
ADI Predictstreet, the Official Prediction Market Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, announced a strategic branding and product partnership with Kalshi on Friday, effective immediately for the tournament's knockout stage. Beginning now, Kalshi's brand will appear co-branded alongside ADI Predictstreet on stadium LED boards, television broadcasts, and online advertising at World Cup matches worldwide.
The partnership was confirmed in a joint Business Wire press release issued Friday and first reported by The New York Times DealBook ahead of the official announcement.
The Deal: FIFA Branding Meets the Exchange With All the Volume
ADI Predictstreet is a Gibraltar-licensed prediction market platform that FIFA named its Official Prediction Market Partner in April 2026 — a deal Bloomberg reported was worth approximately $150 million. The platform has generated consistent stadium and broadcast visibility throughout the group stage, with its logo appearing regularly on pitch-side LED boards during World Cup matches.
The problem: almost no one was using ADI to actually trade. As The New York Times reported Friday, some individual World Cup markets on ADI Predictstreet drew less than $20 in bets per match — while Kalshi, without any official FIFA branding, handled billions of dollars in World Cup volume from U.S. traders.
Kalshi had the users. ADI had the FIFA rights. The partnership solves both problems simultaneously.
"The World Cup is the largest stage for any brand," said Tarek Mansour, Co-Founder and CEO of Kalshi. "We see this as a massive opportunity to increase global awareness and fan engagement."
Dimitrios Psarrakis, CEO of ADI Predictstreet, called it "a transformational moment for our industry," adding: "Together we have an extraordinary opportunity to leverage ADI Chain's capabilities to introduce prediction markets to millions of new users through football's biggest stage."
The Numbers Behind the Deal
The scale gap that made this deal attractive is staggering. The Business Wire press release, citing Bank of America research, stated that Kalshi controls "approximately 90% of the regulated U.S. prediction market share" as of this week.
During the first two weeks of World Cup play, Kalshi's milestones include:
- $1 billion+ in single-day trading volume recorded last week — a platform record at the time
- $1.6 billion in total outstanding open interest across prediction markets — a third consecutive weekly record
- Industry-wide weekly prediction market volume reached $14.4 billion for the first time ever, according to Andreessen Horowitz's data tracking nine platforms
The a16z crypto data also shows that non-sports prediction markets are accelerating alongside the World Cup surge: Kalshi and Polymarket combined handled $3.6 billion in non-sports volume last week alone — more than the total prediction market volume across all categories in all of 2023.
What the Partnership Actually Means
The Kalshi–ADI deal has two distinct components, per the Business Wire press release:
Knockout stage (immediate): Kalshi co-branded alongside ADI Predictstreet in stadium LED displays, TV broadcasts, and online placements globally for the remainder of the 2026 World Cup.
Longer term: Kalshi will provide market expansion to ADI Predictstreet's international platform — meaning ADI users internationally could eventually access Kalshi's liquidity as the platform extends its geographic reach.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The structure mirrors ADI's existing arrangement with Fanatics Markets, where ADI supplied official FIFA branding rights while Fanatics supplied the consumer product and user base. Bloomberg reported ADI paid approximately $150 million for the original FIFA partnership — Kalshi gains equivalent branding exposure without that upfront cost by partnering with ADI directly.
Kalshi's World Cup Soccer Strategy
The ADI deal is the capstone of an aggressive soccer push by Kalshi during the 2026 World Cup. The company also announced during the tournament:
- Argentine Football Association (AFA) — co-branded prediction market partnership with the reigning World Cup champions' national federation
- Croatian Football Federation — partnership featuring ambassador Luka Modrić, Croatia's all-time leading scorer
- Men in Blazers — media partnership with the popular soccer broadcast and podcast brand
Together, these moves signal a deliberate strategy: establish prediction markets as the default fan engagement layer for global soccer, not merely a domestic product for U.S. sports traders.
What's Next for the Industry
The Kalshi–ADI partnership arrives as prediction markets hit a genuine inflection point. The a16z crypto data, published June 24, shows weekly volume at $14.4 billion — up from roughly $5–6 billion at the start of 2026 and more than 10x what the industry handled a year ago.
Kalshi, valued at approximately $22 billion as of its May 2026 Series F raise led by Coatue Management, is now on stadium screens at the largest sporting event on the planet. The prediction market industry's mainstreaming push doesn't get a bigger stage than this.
